Wading through the queue to connect to EVE SiSi for supercap weekend, its a long wait, so I decided to hit the mall and get Demon’s Souls. Definitely a worthwhile trip for three reasons:

1. I got carded for a video game. Anyone who looks under 30? Must be the Dragonball Z t-shirt.

2. As I was heading to the exit, I saw a 10 year old kid with the beer pong game. I guess it is always good to start young so you are prepared for college.

3. Getting ready to pull out of the parking space, a van parks next to me, the trunk pops open, and kids pour out of the back off the floor boards. There was a full second row seat, but no third row seating.

Always a good idea to remain aware of what’s going on around you, because you never know what you will miss otherwise.

It is past time. 31 years old, and definitely not in the best shape of my life, but I need to do something about it. What that means is, regular exercise, hence the new blog on my site.

This will be for nothing more than tracking my progress on an exercise regimen which will include running and weight training. I have had the weights for far too long, they have been sitting around on my weight bench collecting dust, and today I purchased Nike+ running shoes, the little iPod+Nike sensor, and a new iPod Nano so I can track my running progress.

The picture above is Running Day 1.

On the weight lifting days, I am going to keep track of what type of exercise, the weight, and reps.

That means this will be a pretty boring blog, but despite that, I ask that any of my Twitter or FB friends who see this, please help motivate me. Comment in any way you want, I don’t care what it is, but I know I have a bit of a social network out here and hope you can provide some assistance to poor old me.

I quit smoking a week ago, and this time it is for good. Now it is time to do something about the rest.

I spent the weekend out of town with a friend I had not seen in a few months. He lives in Columbus, OH, a couple hours away from me, and we decided to spend the night bar hopping in the Short North. Since I have not really been to bars as a single man in quite some time, I naturally spent the majority of my evening looking at eye candy and realizing that I was way too old. But, during all of this, I happened to notice something.

Batman .. Arkham Asylum

Been spending the past two nights in Gotham City with this game for the PS3. It is, by far, the greatest Batman game ever made. Of course, the second greatest was the game for the NES many years ago (everything else belongs in the dung heap) so it doesn’t have much competition to go up against.

About my recent experience with them when I sent my iPod in. Luckily, they have a section for comments. I doubt that anyone actually reads the damn things, but here is my response to them:

The issues for iPods only include some very generalized issues that your customers may be experiencing. My issues was not available in the 4 options, and therefore I had to use a non-standard method of describing my problem by selecting button issues then using the “what steps have you taken to resolve” section to attempt to describe the problems I am still experiencing.
Because of the lack of an “Other, Please Describe” option, I have no way of being certain if anyone actually read the issue I described. Every subsequent email I received from Apple did not contain the comments I included.
When Apple received my product, they informed me they could not replicate my problem. Was this button issues, or the random track skipping and random resetting I am still experiencing?
Your support has not been beneficial and I feel as if I have wasted my time with them and money with your product.

Fucking  asshats.

UPDATE for anyone who cares, I was in Columbus this past weekend, where they have an Apple Store, and was able to get my iPod swapped out for a new at no charge to me.  Go  Genius Bar.
